Cannon Beach Oregon ... Sunday 1030am 23Aug2009. Temp - 63. Sunrise 625a. Sunset 812p. The sun is shining, the tide is out, Haystack Rock Awareness volunteers are delighting and educating visitors to the Marine Garden at Haystack Rock. Photo 1 is volunteer Jenee Pearce(right) at the site of photos 3 and 4. The tiny 6-point (2 inch) starfish is resting on top of a quite large starfish. Cannon Beach Oregon ... Friday 930am 21Aug2009. Temp - 68. Sunrise 622a. Sunset 815p. Cannon Beach's natural air-conditioning is working perfectly. As temps in the valley set record highs, we're coasting along in the high 60's and low 70's. Today's photos are during low tide at the south end of Cannon Beach. Lots of starfish and sealife. Cannon Beach Oregon ... Tuesday 930am 11Aug2009. Temp - 66. Sunrise 602a. Sunset 832p. "After what seems like weeks of dry weather, rain is falling today, but not enough to even make puddles. There is no wind and the temperature is in the upper sixties. Today's photos are downtown. #1 is Hemlock Street looking south from Whale Park. #2 is also from Whale Park. #3 is what I think must be the largest hanging basket of flowers in town this year. It is at Duane Johnson Real Estate. #4 is at the Conference Center's building on 3rd Street with Whale Park in the background. ..... For today's surf shot go to the SurfCam page.
