Cannon Beach Oregon ... Sunday 10am 20Sep2009. Temp - 58. Sunrise 700a. Sunset 718p. Took a bike ride south on the beach from Tolovana. Another nice September day. Went as far south as Hug Point Falls. Not much water there now. The Summer End Clearance at my gallery (George Vetter FotoArt) continues. Some $95 signed, numbered giclee prints are now $29. This weekend is the Fall Beach Cleanup along the entire Oregon Coast - Saturday from 10a to 1pm. The Cannon Beach registration point is at City Hall. Visit www.solv.org for more info. Sherlock's Secret Life completes its run at the Coaster Theatre this weekend. Artist Steve Hanks will be in town Saturday at the Coaster Theatre with a slide show at 11am and at Haystack Gallery from 1230 to 4p. Labor Day is just 4 days away, bringing the summer season to an end. With the crowds thinned by families back home and kids back in school, Cannon Beach becomes oh so desirable for the empty nesters and the romantics.
