Cannon Beach Oregon .. Saturday 1040am 28May2011. Temp - 59. Sunrise 532a. Sunset 854p. Bonus sunny day. Slight wind out of the south. Rode north from Tolovana as far as Surfsand Resort where I ran into Chad Sweet, manager. He offered to take my picture and I took him up on it. See image #4. I love the blue in the sky today. Cannon Beach Oregon .. Sunday 8 am 01May2011. Temp - 40. Sunrise 604a. Sunset 822p. Beautiful morning on the beach. No wind. Low tide. Spring Unveiling underway at the galleries today. Today's photos are once again from my bike ride south on the beach to Hug Point. I was able to get around Hug Point on the old stage coach blasted rock road, which by the way has become quite difficult to bike on due to the erosion and the mossy growth. Photo 4 is the dog belonging to locals Jerry and Maureen Sroufe. He was quite interested in me on my bike. at one point my hat blew off and before I could get to it, the dog had it in his mouth headed back to Maureen and Jerry. Maureen finally got it from him and I was back on my way toward home and the unveiling at my gallery of "Summer Rain" - a street scene in Dubrovnik, Croatia. In all, I brought out some 30 new images including local sunsets, Outer Banks lighthouses, Olympic National Park favorites and a Silver Point Lookout shot complete with eagles.
