Cannon Beach Oregon .. Sunday 1130am 10Jul2011. Temp - 65. Sunrise 536a. Sunset 906p. We're on a roll with the weather. Another day of the Oregon Coast at its best. I love today's clouds - so many shades of white and blue. I will have to print one of these large to really appreciate all the detail and color. I will have to devote a day's photos to all the lush landscaping downtown - especially at Village Centre. The flower baskets and planting there are stopping people in their tracks. Cannon Beach Oregon .. Friday 140pm 08Jul2011. Temp - 62. Sunrise 534a. Sunset 908p. Having some nice coastal weather - early fog burning off with sun and ocean breese. Vacationers are taking in all the beauty, nature, culture, cuisine, art and great shopping in Cannon Beach. Just opened downtown on Spruce Street next to CB Spa - Chocolate Cafe - featuring Moonstruck Chocolates and a great selection of dark chocolates. And of course coffee. Also just opened downtown in Village Centre - The Wine Bar at Bella Espresso. Open evenings daily with delicious deserts and wines for every taste. For those of you who avoid Cannon Beach in the summer because of the crowds, you may want to give that a second thought. The town is not crowded like summers of years past. Cannon Beach Oregon .. Friday 830am 01Jul2011. Temp - 60. Sunrise 529a. Sunset 910p. We're in the middle of a week of minus tides. I was able to ride to Ecola Point this morning. Beautiful morning. There is finally enough sand built up at Chapman Point to pass. Last year I never was able to pass that point. One can hike down to Crescent Beach from the trail marked near the top of Ecola Park Road. Monday - the 4th - has a full schedule here - The Great Cannon Beach Puffin Watch at Haystack Rock all day, Parade at 11, Symphonic Band in the park at 3, Bobcat Bob and his guitar in the park at 730 and the Flamebouyant Fire Dancers in the park at 915.
