It is actually a very nice day. Lots of sun and no wind. A bonus January day for the north coast. Pouring rain, sun, hail, back to rain, etc. Image #4 is the nearly completed retail complex at 2nd & Larch by Jim and Mary Ann Oyala. Designed by local architect Farzahn Kamali, the building will house four spaces on the ground level and two on the second level.This project is a welcome addition to downtown Cannon Beach. Cannon Beach Oregon .. Monday 8am 16Jan2012. Temp - 32. Sunrise 753a. Sunset 457p. Snow on the ground here this morning early. The sun peeked out before clouds rolled in and rain began to melt and wash away the white stuff. I drove back from Portland yesterday through the snow on Highway 26. It was beautiful. On my ride to Haystack and back I had to take off my jacket and then my sweater, down to my t-shirt. Not only was it warm, but it was bright - perfect day for a visit to the beach.
