March 20th is the Great Oregon Spring Beach Cleanup. NW Point, a new bus line running from Portland to Clatsop County, is offering free transportation for 40 Spring Beach Cleanup volunteers in conjunction with the Sunset Empire Transportation District. The bus leaves from Union Station in Portland, will drop off in Seaside and Cannon Beach, and then return to Portland after the event. For more information contact Cliff Engel at 503-314-5585. Mark your calendar for Savor Cannon Beach March 12-14. Enjoy the beauty of the beach along with the great offerings of the restaurants, galleries and shops with a Saturday Wine Tour from 2-5pm in the middle of it all. Twenty-five dollar Wine Tour tickets go on sale at Coaster Theatre at 1pm the day of the event. Advance tickets can be purchased at the Information Center - downtown at Second and Spruce.
