Cannon Beach Oregon ... Sunday 10am 17Jan2010. Temp - 50. Sunrise 752a. Sunset 459p. It's a three day weekend and the weather is mild with some wind out of the south. Winter storms continue to deliver and rearrange driftwood of all sizes. There are some very large logs, stumps and trunks on the beach right now. Photo #3 gives you some sense of the density. The awesome beauty of the Pacific in winter in on display from sunup to sundown. Many shops, restaurants and galleries are open daily. Some close on Tues and/or Wed during winter.
