CANNON BEACH OREGON: The 5th Anniversary Celebration of George Vetter FotoArt will take place November 6-8, 2009, during Cannon Beach's annual Stormy Weather Arts Festival. George Vetter FotoArt, located in Village Centre at 231 N Hemlock Suite 113, features the photography of George Vetter, back from a fall foliage photo excursion thru the northern Adirondacks of New York, northern Vermont and the White Mountains of New Hampshire. George will be in the gallery all weekend.

New images will be featured on canvas and on paper up to 24"x36". Some good news in this challenging economy is that while the value of George's images has gone up, the cost of his images has come down.

Champagne will be served along with hors d'oeuvres on Friday and Saturday at 6pm. Two drawings will be held. The first on Saturday at 2pm and the second on Sunday at 2pm for a signed/numbered, George Vetter, 12x16 or 12x18, fiber giclee of the winner's pre-selected choice. The winner need not be present. Enter the drawing now by e-mailing george@cannon-beach.net with your favorite two images from the gallery site at www.georgevetterfotoart.com or come by the gallery. George will have a photo is the silent auction portion of Friday's 7-10pm  Quick Draw event at Tolovana Inn.  Advance tickets only at 503-436-2623.

On Sunday from 11am to 1pm is the Sunday Morning Send-off with croissants and orange juice followed by the drawing at 2pm. Signed postcards of "Moon Bike" will be available free upon request.

George's work will also be on display in Arriba Gallery, upstairs at Village Centre. Arriba Gallery will also feature Artists Donald Masterson, Anthony Porzio, Ray Probst, David Marshall and Clifford Bailey. Donald Masterson will have a room of his own filled with original paintings; many being new pieces never seen before. The artist will be on hand. Anthony Porzio's work is digital art of scanned beach objects layered and arranged to create striking graphic giclees matted and framed to 24"x36". Meet Anthony at the gallery. North Coast photographer Ray Probst black and white images reflect his years of mastering his art. David Marshall's bold images are modern and uplifting. His piano pieces will stop you in your tracks. Clifford Bailey's unique people paintings round out the Arriba experience.

Images in the galleries range from 8"x10" to 33"x50". The larger images are canvas giclees. These stretched giclee prints are ready to be hung, or can be further enhanced with a frame. All images are signed and numbered.

Besides the images in the gallery, George also custom prints his images found on Cannon-Beach Net and George Vetter FotoArt Com. Some portrait work is fit in as time permits.

Gallery coordinator Aneka Schenk and George invite you to the gallery's 5th Anniversary Celebration, and Cannon Beach's 22nd Stormy Weather Arts Festival Friday-Sunday, Nov 6-8th.  It promises to be a very exciting weekend with nearly 20 galleries putting on the Ritz.
