Cannon Beach Shuttle Schedule

The Cannon Beach Shuttle began service in June 1990, an idea born out of the Cannon Beach Energy Conservation project. The Shuttle represents the community's recognition and response to the ever increasing need for energy conservation, reduction in traffic pollution and concern for the environment.

The Local Shuttle serves all accommodations and commercial establishments in Cannon Beach (including the Tolovana Park area). It is Free. The route generally follows Hemlock Street--the City's main north-south arterial--from one end of town to the other and back again. Passengers may board at any of the designated stops along the route. The bus will also make requested pickups and stops along the route where this can safely be accomplished.

The Local Shuttle operates daily thru September. It starts the day at the north end of town (Les Shirley Park) at 11 a.m. and ends the day at 556 p.m. A complete run takes 30 minutes. You can print the below schedule or pick one up at City Hall (midtown @ Gower Street), the Chamber of Commerce (downtown @ Second & Spruce Streets), the Shuttle itself, and most overnight accommodations.

Seating 30 persons, the vehicle is handicap accessible and has a bicycle rack. It is run by Sunset Empire Transit District. Fare is free within Cannon Beach. Fare to Seaside is $1.00. Fare to Warrenton/Astoria is $4.00. Passes can be purchased - $5/day, $45/month ($30 for students, military, disabled & elderly), $495/year ($330 for students, military, disabled & elderly).
