Mark's message: Friday 820am 12Mar2010. Winds blew most of the early morning.... SW winds gusting 50+mph this am..... SSW 18ft @ 10 sec's, water and air both around 51, but the wind chill really knocks it down..... it is very nice when you are outside with a building blocking the South winds.... then you step out..... Wham!! that is a wake up call!! Supposed to stay like this most of the day. Saturday morning, W 12-15ft @ 13 sec's wtih am winds 30mph, but dropping to SW 10mph just in time for the Cannon Beach Annual Wine Tour...... 5am low tide, 11am high tide. Sunday WSW 8ft @ 14 sec's in the am, but building to 12ft by 6p. 6:30am low tide, 12:30p high tide, S winds about 25mph. Monday W 15+ft @ 13 sec's with S winds 30mph. Tuesday WSW 15ft with SW winds 25+mph. Wed. WSW 10-12ft with light SW winds. Thursday W 7-8ft with light SW winds. Looks like the sun breaks out next friday, just in time for that spring break....... Hope you stop by if you are in town on Sat. night for the Wine Tour..... they even have the CB Shuttle bus running until 8:30p, (free), so you can drink, walk and ride the shuttle......
