Sunset Empire Transit - 800-776-6406 - Bus Service for the North Coast. Public "Flag Stop" bus service to Seaside (8 miles north), Warrenton, Hammond, Astoria. and the Astoria Airport. Stops downtown Cannon Beach at the Information Center every hour starting at 6:44 am on the corner of Second and Spruce or anywhere else you can flag it down. Makes 12 daily trips to Seaside. Fare is $.75 one-way to Seaside. Call 800-776-6406 for details. Cannon Beach Shuttle by Sunset Empire Transit - Operating 7 days a week, the Shuttle serves all accommodations and commercial establishments in Cannon Beach, running the entire length of the City, North (Les Shirley Park) to South (Maher Street in Tolovana Park) and back. The Shuttle operates daily year-round. Monday thru Saturday, between the hours of 6:29 a.m. and 7:02 p.m. and Sunday between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 6:37 p.m. Pick up times are posted at each identified stop. You can print a schedule from the link below or pick one up at City Hall (midtown @ Gower Street), the Chamber of Commerce (downtown @ Second & Spruce Streets), the Shuttle itself, and most overnight accommodations. The terrain is mostly flat and everything is in easy biking distance. Except during high tide when the hard sand is scarce, biking on the beach is a real joy. You can connect by bus (see bus info below) to and from Cannon Beach.
