ANNUAL EVENTS
Each June Cannon Beach hosts its famous Sand Castle Contest. The 46th annual contest is scheduled for Saturday, June 19, 2010. Photos from prior events can be seen on Cannon-Beach Net. Ellie makes a great poster child (poster elephant?) for the event!
Make Cannon Beach your art destination. Two annual events showcase art. Spring Unveiling, the first weekend in May - April 30 - May 2, 2010 and Stormy Weather Arts Festival - the first week in November (Nov 5-7, 2010) and Haystack Holidays is throughout December, culminating with New Years Eve. Surfsand Resort hosts two annual events: The Annual Dog Show, a Saturday in mid october, and The Puffin Kite Festival in mid April. The Lewis & Clark Expedition visited here in 1806. William Clark and members of the expedition traveled a perilous trail across Tillamook Head to Cannon Beach. That same trail exists today. If you choose not to include your credit card information, we will hold the room 24 hours while we wait for a telephone call from you with your credit card information. We require a 2-night minimum during high season. During low season we require 2 night minimum on weekends. Cancellations: Low season (October thru May 15) 72 hours notice prior to your arrival date - less a $25 cancellation fee. High Season: (May 15 thru September): 2 weeks notice prior to your arrival date - less a $25 cancellation fee. This form is to request a reservation.
